Unprimed. Brass is Large Pistol Primers.
This is the Cowboy Special. It can be used in 45 Colt revolvers or single shot rifles. The original 45 Colt would hold 40 grains of black powder, but with the higher energy density of modern smokeless powders, those pieces of brass get partially filled. The 45 Cowboy Special uses a shorter case (the same size as the 45 ACP) but maintains the other properties of the 45 (Long) Colt. The small case volume reduces the amount of empty space, which should provide better ignition. More information can be found at Starline Brass.
These are sold in smaller batches so you can try it out and see if you like it. Let me know if you need a larger bulk quantity so I can combine shipping.
Note, these will not feed properly in a repeating rifle (lever gun).
